Attached to the owners’ house but reached independently, enter The Studio by french doors into a beautifully appointed space, where it is quite evident that this is a carefully planned home extension of exceptionally high quality. The amply stocked kitchen area has a fridge with an ice box, microwave cooker, kettle, toaster and sink and all the essentials for making a light snack or supper and breakfast. The sitting area has a comfy sofa for two, a 36 inch TV, ipod dock with ceiling speakers and wifi. The Studio is heated throughout by underfloor electric heating.
Walk from the sitting area to a large super king size bed, beautifully appointed wardrobe space, dressing table and as the owner says, ” a view to make you want to stay in bed all day”! The bathroom has stained glass windows and built on the round It is spacious with a large rainfall shower head, four body jets and a separate hand held shower.
The studio is fully equipped with everything you could possible need, from fluffy dressing gowns to DVD’s – all you need to bring are your own personnel items and some food. There is plenty of parking right in front of the Studio and a small private sun trap gravel garden area with outdoor seating and more wonderful views.
Situated just outside the conservation village of Dunning, visitor will find a Nisa Store shops with a wide range of goods, a Post Office and an ATM, and two Pubs serving food. Visit The Dupplin Cross in the Historic Scotland run St Serf’s Church or take in a round of golf at the local 9-hole course (you can get a bite to eat at the Pavillion Cafe) or play some tennis, or a game of bowls, climb nearby Craig Rossie, or just enjoy the peaceful views from the Studio. All this is available on your doorstep before you take in Perth (9 miles), Auchterarder and Gleneagles (5 miles), St Andrews, Edinburgh and Glasgow at around an hour’s drive.
