Recently refurbished to a very high standard, the cottage is split over three levels with the entrance into an open plan living space with sitting room, dining and kitchen areas. Downstairs is the master en-suite bedroom with a four-poster bed. Upstairs are the double and twin rooms. There is a luxury family bathroom with separate bath, shower, toilet and wash basin.
Outside is a deck area overlooking the River Tay a great place to relax of an evening after a day climbing Munros or enjoying the many activities available locally.
The village boasts excellent facilities including a Pub, bistro, restaurant, deli, gift shop and Post Office.
The village of Kenmore at the eastern end of Loch Tay is surrounded by some of Scotland’s most stunning scenery. Queen Victoria spent her honeymoon at Taymouth Castle and it was this visit that started her love affair with Scotland.
As well as the natural beauty of Highland Perthshire, there are a huge number of activities to enjoy in the area. Whether it is a relaxing picnic by the loch side, golfing, fishing, or more extreme outdoor pursuits, you can find it nearby.
Ben Lawers Nature Reserve beside Loch Tay offers great walks for nature lovers.
Fortingall village is just a few miles away and has beautiful thatched cottages and Britain’s oldest tree.

Pitlochy is slightly closer and offers good shopping and eating out as well as visits to Edradour Distillery, the dam and fish ladder and Pitlochry Festival Theatre. In season, book up for the Enchanted Forest experience. Beyond Pitlochry is the House of Bruar, Scotland’s Harrods of the North, and Blair Castle – where the Duke of Atholl has his own private army!
